Stephen Edwards is the Memphis Market Lead and Senior Professional Engineer for TREKK Design Group. In this role, he oversees the Memphis office operations and various transportation and civil projects covering 5 states. Prior to joining TREKK, Stephen spent nearly 10 years with the City of Memphis’ Division of Engineering and was responsible for planning, design, review and coordination of all City Capital Improvement and grant-funded projects. His varied career has provided 17 years of experience in private and public infrastructure development and 24 years in organizational management and leadership. Stephen received his BSCE and MSCE, in Civil Engineering, from the University of Memphis, and occasionally, serves as an Adjunct Professor for his alma mater. 

Stephen is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), serving as the Tennessee Immediate Past President and on the Southern District Leadership Development Team. In 2020, Stephen received the Professional Engineer in Government Award from the Memphis Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers. Stephen is also an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Public Work Association, American Planning Association, Urban Land Institute, Congress for New Urbanism, Germantown Stormwater Advisory Commission, and the T-STEM Academy East High School Professional Advisory Board.
