Ellen Dement Hurd

Historian//HNTB

Ellen Dement Hurd is a historian at HNTB in Nashville. She previously worked for the Tennessee Historical Commission as the Certified Local Government Coordinator and as a historian for Jacobs Engineering in Atlanta, Georgia, and Seattle, Washington. Hurd holds a bachelor's degree in History and Art History from Vanderbilt University and a master's degree in Architectural History from the University of Washington. She currently serves on the board of the Buchanan Log House and Historic Nashville's Easements Committee.

Lindsey Crockett

Senior Planner//Knoxville-Knox County Planning

Lindsay Crockett is a Senior Planner with Knoxville-Knox County Planning, focusing on historic preservation and design review. She staffs the City and County Historic Zoning Commission and the Design Review Board, and serves on the board of Knox Heritage. Lindsay is a Knoxville native who received a BA in Art History from Sewanee: the University of the South and an MS in Historic Preservation from Clemson University and the College of Charleston.
