Anna Grider

Planner 3//Metro Nashville Planning Department

Anna joined the Metro Nashville Planning Department in 2016 as a Community Planner.  She is passionate about community engagement and long-range planning and has been a key part of several critical planning projects for Nashville.  Most recently Anna has led the Imagine East Bank Vision Plan and the Dickerson North Corridor Study.  Anna holds a bachelor's degree in Urban Studies from the University of Oklahoma.  Prior to moving to Nashville, Anna worked for the Planning Departments of the City of Broken Arrow and the City of Oklahoma City, and for the Institute for Quality Communities at the University of Oklahoma.

Thomas K. Davis

Professor of Architecture//University of Tennessee

Thomas K. Davis FAIA is a Professor of Architecture at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.  From 2004-2008, he represented the university as Design Director at the Nashville Civic  Design Center.  Since 2008, he and his outreach engagement students have worked almost exclusively on civic design projects for Nashville.  He was a co-recipient in 2016, with his spouse Marleen K. Davis, of the AIA Tennessee Samuel Morgan Lifetime Service Award for Contributors to Architecture in the Public Realm.
